Hi Friends, Family, Acquaintances, Cyclists, Triathletes, and Bike Advocates!!!
Dust off your bicycle, grab some glow lights, and take spin around the town in the dark! This is free and fun for all ages. Please see flyer or email below for further information! Feel free to forward this event email to others.
WHEN: Friday, April 27th, Meet at 8:30 – Ride from 9:00-9:30
WHERE : The fountain at Marion Square, After party at Leaf at 9:30
WHY: To celebrate National Child Abuse Prevention Month,
Darkness to Light is hosting Charleston’s first Glow Ride!
We’re calling all Charleston cyclists to deck out their bikes with the brightest, most vivid, neon lights they own to light up the dark against child abuse. Just think of the tackiest Christmas lights you’ve ever seen, but bike style. Affordabike will be donating a prize to the “most pimped out ride.”
Leaf will be hosting an after party at 9:30 featuring 44 North Huckleberry
Vodka and lemonade specials for all of the participants. The ride and the after party will be free, but donations are recommended.
